Senior IT Business Analyst urgently sought for our major client
project team in Portlaoise.
The Business Analysis Team will work for the IT group, be responsible
for gathering business requirements across a wide range of business
areas and liaising with application development teams in the delivery
of IT systems to meet these requirements.
The business Analyst will work with all stakeholders to:? Evaluate
existing processes, conduct research and analysis in order to come up
with solutions to business problems? Elicit requirements using a
range of tools which may include, but is not limited to interviews,
story boarding, user journeys, document analysis, requirements
gathering workshops, business process modelling and high-level
estimation? Engage with Business SMEs, IT delivery teams, and
testers to clearly define the system requirements and ensure the
solution design is fit for purpose across the relevant business
area(s)? Work, where applicable, in collaboration with the UX
Designer to optimise user experience? Be adaptable to working in
traditional and Agile / DevOps methodologies/environments? Produce
documentation in line with standards? Work collaboratively across
business, test and development to achieve the one objective? Conduct
documentation reviews and ensure that all documentation produced is in
line with standards? Understand the business domain, identify needs
and evaluate business and technical solutions? Manage customer
expectations and relationships effectively and professionally?
Advise on trade-offs between requirement value and development
effort? Lead effective and positive team interaction with team
members across multiple locations? Attention to detail and
capability of delivering a high level of accuracy? Facilitate
Knowledge Transfer/ Sharing of Knowledge with internal Staff
Initial 6 month contract, but can extend on multi-year basis. Starts
Mid-late September.
Any consulting or public sector experience a plus. Role remote during
